Old copper handpeeled price
The handpeeled copper can easily be melted due to its purity and can be used in all kind of new products, such as copper windings for electric motors, generators, coils and electromagnets. Also do the melters, that for example melt a specific bronze or brass alloy, use this pure copper to replenish their melt bath at the correct proportions.
The pure, unalloyed copper quality makes copper easy to bend. This is a necessity for the flexibility of the power cable, but also to give an optimum current conduction. The purer the copper, the better the conductivity.
Copper is not only known as a very good conductor of electricity, but is also a conductor of heat and is used for data communication. Without copper computers and mobile phones would not exist.
The copper handpeeled price is largely determined by the level of the copper price on the LME. The copper price per ton is determined on this basis. This price per ton gives an indication but does not yet imply the exact copper rate for recycling. The final price is determined by quality of the material, the margin of the copper smelter, the margin of brokers, but also supply and demand.
Product features of copper handpeeled
Copper handpeeled comes from peeled copper cables and has a purity of 99,99%. The high degree of purity can be guaranteed by the manual processing of the copper cable into pure copper wire. It is also called red copper handpeeled, because of its bright shiny red colour.
The material must be free of tinned copper, varnished copper, oxidized copper, burned copper, copper varnish wire, fat handpeeled copper originating from ground cable with or without paper, brass attachments and other contaminants.
Fun fact about copper handpeeled: it comes from the production of new cables and from the manual stripping of old copper cables
